Ordering, Payments, and Service Policies

Terms & Conditions

01 Order Minimums

  • $500 minimum order total applies to all catering orders.
  • Meals & Combos: Minimum 25 servings
  • Trays: Minimum 25 servings.
  • Hors d’oeuvres / Heat & Eat: Minimum 50 pieces.
  • Dessert Options: Minimum 25 servings.

02 Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed per person or per piece as indicated on the menu.
  • Indiana sales tax applies to the food subtotal and delivery/setup fee.
  • A 10% Delivery & Setup Fee is added to every order. This covers delivery staff and setup, not gratuity.
  • Gratuities are optional and at the customer’s discretion; a tip line is provided.

03 Deposits & Final Payment

  • A non-refundable $200 Save the Date deposit is required to secure your order.
  • A 50% deposit is due once menu selections are confirmed.
  • The final balance is due one week before the event.
  • Late payments may incur a 5% late fee per week overdue.
  • Returned checks are subject to a $50 fee.

04 Delivery & Setup

  • Service is drop-off and buffet-style self-serve only, unless additional attendants are contracted.
  • Food is presented on high-quality disposable trays. No returns are required.
  • Setup of food is included with delivery.
  • Serving utensils (tongs/spoons) are provided with trays and hors d’oeuvres.
  • Combo meals include food only. Box lunches include silverware packs; other meals do not.
  • Add-ons (plates, silverware packs, beverages, chafing dishes) are available separately.
  • Delivery times are quoted at order confirmation; delays due to traffic, weather, or venue access are not the responsibility of Happy Everything Catering.

05 Staffing (Optional)

  • On-site attendants may be requested at $100 per hour per staff member, 3-hour minimum.
  • Attendants assist with replenishing food, clearing trays, and customer service.

06 Additional Add-Ons

Available upon request for an additional charge:

  • Large Dinner Plates – $1.00 each
  • Small Dessert Plates – $0.50 each
  • Silverware Packs – $1.50 each (includes fork, knife, spoon, napkin, salt, pepper)
  • Chafing Dishes – $25 each (with fuel, disposable, customer keeps them)
  • Cold Beverages – $2.00 each (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Bottled Water)

07 Changes & Cancellations

  • Menu changes or cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
  • Orders cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice are subject to full charge.
  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a future order at the company’s discretion.

08 Food Safety & Allergies

  • Customers must disclose allergies or dietary restrictions when ordering.
  • While best efforts are made, cross-contamination cannot be fully guaranteed.
  • Food should be consumed within 2 hours of delivery or stored properly. Happy Everything Catering accepts no liability once food leaves our care.
  • Leftovers are the customer’s responsibility.

09 Liability & Service Conditions

Happy Everything Catering is not responsible for:

  • Delays due to traffic, weather, or venue access.
  • Equipment issues caused by customer misuse.
  • Venue-related restrictions, access issues, or damage not caused by our staff.
  • Substitutions of equal or greater value may be made if ingredients are unavailable.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances (illness, natural disaster, etc.), Happy Everything Catering reserves the right to cancel or reschedule service without liability beyond refunding amounts paid.

10 Legal Protections

  • Limitation of Liability: Happy Everything Catering’s liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the order.
  • Indemnification: Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Happy Everything Catering and its owners, employees, and agents against any claims arising from misuse of food, improper storage, or customer negligence.
  • Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held responsible for circumstances beyond reasonable control (acts of God, government restrictions, natural disasters, etc.).
